Databases are automatically backed up to restore their status at earlier times. The retention period is 7 days. Backups are stored on physical devices different from those running database instances.

Data retention (storage)
Account data will be retained due to tax regulations up to ten years after you cancel your Service Account cancellation.
Data entered by you as well as configuration data, settings and system-generated data will be deleted immediately when you delete your account.

Once your account has been cleared, no data will be retained except for possible billing data, if invoices have been issued to you under the contractual relationship.
